To standardize the evaluation and treatment of acute thoracolumbar spinal injury.

The report is based on an in depth literature search and analysis of evidence-based medicine and clinical experiences as well as Delphi method. This is the first time that Chinese professionals have released a consensus on spine and spinal cord injury. Experts from the Beijing Army General Hospital of Chinese PLA drafted this consensus. This consensus is usually a standard for the management of acute backbone and spinal cord injury and was authorized by domestic experts. It could standardize the evaluation and treatment of severe thoracolumbar spine and spinal-cord injury. The relevant contents were released in the Neural Regeneration Study .
